About Me
Dalibor Vitas was born on January 13th1984. in Zagreb, Croatia. From his early age he showed great interest in fashion. At the age of 12 (15.7.1997. - the day when famous Gianni Versace was killed) he became fascinated with fashion and in accordance with that he attend fashion high school. His major subjects were reduced to the art of tailoring and the technical process of making clothes. That helped him later when he turned to the creative part of creating clothes and design styling for different clients. Training continues at the prestigious fashion department of Textile - Technology Faculty in Zagreb. Thru five years of education stands out as one of the most improved student. Proof of that is participating in various exhibitions and the most important first prize in prêt a porter category on "Fashion Wardrobe". The importance of the prize is even greater because it was issued by eminent professors from London's Central St. Martin, Esmod, renowned costume designers and international designers and artists. After the first three years where his primary education was fashion design, the last two years he turned to costume design for theater. As the only student he got a chance to work for a prominent Croatian National Theatre on famous piece "A Streetcar Named Desire" where he got chance to work with the most famous actors in this field. In the meantime he worked on many important positions such as stylist positions in reputable journals such as the Insider for business men, where he skillfully combines his creative expression with needs and requirements of specific target population. Dalibor Vitas also wrote hundreds of fashion articles, fashion critics and reviews published in widely read fashion portals and before arriving in London he worked on the function of executive editor for fashion editorials collaborating with many designers. Critics and the public in his work recognize true love and knowledge of fashion, so he gives more advices thru media such as TV, internet, newspapers, where he advised people how to dress for many occasions. With his title of Master Engineer in Fashion and Textile Design he came to London in autumn 2010. where he opened fashion consulting company and works with people from all over the world.
